Description: Vintage Erphila dachshund dog teapot The dog teapot was made by a West Germany company in the 1940s/1950s. The handle is the dog's tail and the front paws come together to form the spout. The dog is glossy brown and tan. It is wearing a brown collar. The teapot has an E&R Erphila Germany stamp on the bottom. It is imprinted 6703B. It is 7-1/2" tall, 4" wide, and 7" deep (front of spout to back of handle). The teapot is in pre-owned condition consistent with age. The colors are bright. There is some crazing. There is a small chip on one of the bottom paws. There are small unglazed spots on one side of the head. There is a a small chip on the inside rim of the lid and a spot of teal coloring on the bottom of the head in the lid area. There is some discoloration inside the pot portion at the bottom. Please see photos.
