McKee French Ivory #258 Dripping / Drip Jar

Description: McKee French Ivory #258 Dripping / Drip Jar - RARE COMPANY MAKER / BRAND: The McKee Glass Company ITEM: #258 Square Refrigerator Jar / Dripping Jar CIRCA: 1930s COLOR: French Ivory, Black Lettering MEASUREMENT: 2 5/8" H. - 5" L. - 4" W. CONDITION: We are pleased to offer for sale a French Ivory McKee Drippings Jar. McKee designed their kitchen glassware to be not only functional, but beautiful as well. This leftover was listed as a #258 Square Box. As you can see from the measurements, these small boxes are not really square, but are rectangular. This pretty drippings dish is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks or mold imperfections. The coloring is outstanding. The lettering is in good shape with only slight wear. Our pictures are very good so please check them out. This hard to find container is marked with the round McKee backstamp on top of the lid. There is also a backstamp on the bottom of the jar. You will be pleased with both the color and the condition of this pretty kitchen item. These kitchen containers were sold with French Ivory or crystal lids. As you can see our jar has the opaque lid. The inside is nice and clean. It is free of scratching or use marks. McKee French Ivory / Custard (1930s) - McKee produced a very large collection of items in their French Ivory or Custard color. This lovely color with a tint of yellow or beige came in just about every kitchenware shape that McKee produced. There were round canisters with glass lids, canisters with aluminum screw lids, measuring cups, reamers, rolling pins, water dispensers, leftover jars, spice shakers, salt and peppers, water bottles, mixers, tumblers, coasters, a punch set and mixing bowls in several different shapes. McKee made the Laurel Depression Glass dinnerware set in the French Ivory color to match the kitchen items. Additional vases, bowls, and barware were also produced in this lovely color.
