It comes with the round, hard case. It has a quality design, which McDermott uses on its higher quality cues. McDermott cues come with a lifetime warranty, but I do not know if that applies to the secondary owner or not. I tested the cue for straightness, and it passed the test on a few poker tables at Sam's Town. note: Mcdermott cues with a similar design typically sell for $550 to $900.I could not find the history of this cue. It is photo’d on a flat living room desk table and is lookin good. Note: all cues, even ones straight from the factory may need slight adjustments on the tip end, due to heat, cold and humidity or lack of humidity during travel. I live in the desert when there is no humidity most the time. I may ship to you in the Northeast or Northwest or Deep South where the humidity is 90% most the time. This can affect the cue’s straightness: You expert shooters know this. I have tested the cue for straightness on this flat table and also at Sam’s town felt tables… and it is fine now. When you receive it, due to stressful travel temperatures etc, it may need some slight adjustment. UNLESS you are a pro, don't try this at home. Take the cue to a pool hall and let their technician do it. If you have experience, check out Youtube videos that show the minor adjustments you can make, if need be.
