Well don't despair, here is a cheap answer that will give you many years of worry free operation. It is no good repairing one broken wire, the clue is there.One hardened wire has snapped, the others will soon follow. This cable section can be fitted into the old door loom replacing broken, split, potential breaking wires in the drivers door loom. It is colour for colour and comes complete with heat-shrink butt connectors for easy installation.The hardest part is removing the door flange seals.These must be removed carefully so they can be re-used.
