Description: Mavic 221 wheelset: These have the Amp Research / Rock Shox disc brake hubs with the special 3-hole disc rotor mount. The rims are also rim brake compatible if you choose to use rim brakes instead of disc brakes. Front: Mavic 221 rim, with a complete rebuild of the front hub and all spokes. Every single spoke is new and the wheel is true. This was a $100 rebuild. Rear: Mavic 221 rim, with Shimano XTR hub. This hub is 8/9 speed compatible. This wheel comes fitted with a rear disc rotor. I also have a spare 3-hole disc rotor for the rear. The hole spacing is different for the rear versus front, so it's a rear only rotor. The wheels are in great condition and I took a different approach on a custom build I was working on, and as such am selling the wheelset. Trying to offer reasonable shipping of $120 for the wheelset (it's an awkward size when shipping). Local pickup available as well in the Cocoa Beach FL area. Thanks.
