Appears to be the number 30 impressed to the bottom. Based upon my research, this number represents the year the item was manufactured. Thus 1930.Based on another site: This pitcher was created sometime between 1890 to 1921,Mason's made Vista from 1890 until 2000. However dinner ware that say just "England" and not "Made in England" were made before 1921.The saucer measures: approx 4 7/8 inches. The mark to the bottom of this saucer is different from the pitcher; it does not have the wording "GUARANTEED PERMANENT & ACID RESISTANT COLOURS".MORE ABOUT MASON'S VISTA:Mason’s Vista pattern is an ironstone transferware made in England by the Masons. It is attributed to Francis Morley who purchased the Charles Mason business and factories in 1848. Mason Vista’s ironstone was largely made for export to the United States beginning in 1890. The color brown came first, followed by blue and then the pink/red.
