Description: Here is an O gauge Marx 0-4-0 electric powered (AC current) #490 plastic steam engine with matching plastic Penn Central 4 wheel plastic tender! This is the version of the engine with the ONE WAY MOTOR and no headlight. The engine shell has normal playwear but also has a crack in the roof of the cab (see closeup). I have posted a short video of the engine running, and it does run sluggishly, and sometimes needs a nudge to start. It could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning and lubrication to run better! The tender is in nice shape, just normal playwear, and has white Penn Central lettering. Has 4 stamped metal wheels on metal axles, and a plastic knuckle type rear coupler. Photos show the engine and tender from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference, plus a closeup of the motor, and of that crack in the cab roof, so you can see it.
