Description: Marx Commodore Vanderbilt Electric W/tender. Locomotive runs forward and backward. I placed a spare brush plate holder because bearing out on unit and would not run. Cleaned. Armature and brushes while out. Unit has two drive gears also wore that if run alot would need replacing. Motor is an electric sparker. (NOTE : MISSING GEAR and SPARKER device). Do not know the year built. Body paint has lots of scratches and faded. See pictures for better description. The unit was missing a headlight and bracket. Made brace for light and power cable. Tender is a New York Central and also has dings and scratches. See pictures for further details. Set sold as is with no returns! Toy bear and hat not apart of sale. Thank you for looking.
