Description: For sale is one vintage copy of Marvel Comics - Transformers Universe, issue #1, released December 1986. This is an original first print of a special edition 'Collector's Item' issue, featuring a wraparound cover by artist Herb Trimpe, with Bumblebee on the front and Bruticus on the back. The book is also printed with a seal in the upper left hand corner, celebrating Marvel's 25th Anniversary. This book was the first of a special four-part series. The series functioned as a kind of 'Yearbook' edition, which was quite popular in comics at the time. The book will come bagged and boarded, as shown in the photos. The book is in really beautiful condition, specifically for a vintage item of it's age. There is some generalized age wear around the cover edges and very light signs of age and previous handling around the binding. There is evidence of generalized discolouration of the white boarders of the pages (seen only by looking at the page edges through the bag), but all of the colours have remained bright and vibrant.
