They come from a decades-long, pre-owned, private collection and have not been professionally graded. If you're a collector, then I may not be the seller for you. These books have been read (and re-read) by people who love the stories, imagination and nostalgia. I hope you find whatever you're looking for.This auction is for a mixed lot of graphic novels and comic books published by Marvel Comics. Some of these comic book series are incomplete. Please note the following conditions of the items which may affect your interest in bidding: 1) Origin: The True Story of Wolverine. This is a first (1st) hardcover printing published in complete form in 2002. It includes all six (6) issues of the mini-series. There is visible wear on the top and bottom of the dust jacket's front and back covers; there is a visible mark on the dust jacket spine by the Marvel logo; there is a visible dent on the front cover. 2) Prince Namor: Sub-Mariner. This 4-issue limited comic book series was published between September and December, 1984 and are all Direct Editions. #1 shows misalignment and visible wear to the front and back covers; #2 shows printer's ink wear inside, discoloration on the last page & "75" is handwritten on the back; #3 shows visible wear on the front cover, tiny holes on several pages inside & "75" is handwritten on the back; #4 shows visible wear on the front cover, discoloration on the credits page and last page, visible wear on the back cover 3) The Essential Spider-Man: Volume 2. Published in Black & White TPB collection form in 1997, this is a second (2nd) printing. There is visible wear on the top and bottom of the front cover. 4) Rogue: An X-Men Limited comic book series (incomplete). Published in 1995, only issues #2 and #3 are available here.#2 shows visible wear on the bottom of the front cover;#3 shows a visible crease on the top of the back cover. 5) Marvel: 1602. Written by Neil Gaiman and published in collection form in 2006, this is a first (1st) printing and includes all eight (8) issues of the mini-series. There is visible wear on the top and bottom of the front and back covers. 6) Ben Grimm and Logan comic book series (incomplete). Published in 2000, only issues #1 and #2 are available here. These are Direct Editions. #2 shows visible wear on the top and bottom of the front cover 7) Ravage 2099 #1 Comic Book (gold foil cover). Published in 1992, there is visible wear on the front cover's corners and visible creases on the back cover. 8) Civil War Chronicles #3. Published in 2007, it is a collection of Civil War: Front Line issues #2-4. There is visible wear on the bottom of the front and back covers. 9) Civil War: Front Line #2 Comic Book. Published in 2006, there is visible wear on the top of the back cover. 10) Civil War: The Initiative #1 (one-shot). Published in 2007, there is visible wear on the front and back cover edges and corners.
