Description: Martin Katon Signed White Buffalo Bison Original Oil on Slate w/ Arrowhead 1997 - Signed "Katon 1997" on front corner. Has an artist made arrowhead on front. Measures 20" tall and 14" across. We have 3 of these paintings and all 3 have holes drilled in the slate. Not sure if this was done by the artist to keep slate stable while working on it, or if the previous owner put some sort of screw through it to secure it to a wall. They are difficult to see unless you are looking for them. You can see both of these in the last 2 pictures.Other than that, it is in great condition Perfect for a lodge, cabin, or Southwest decor.
