Item Description Martin D-28 D28 (2007) 2007s Martin Dreadnought Nippachi is now in stock! Since its birth in 1931, Martin's D-28 has been the model for acoustic guitar brands around the world. This used item is a 2007s, and the specs are before the major changes were made in 2017. The dreadnought body is made entirely of veneer, with the top made of Sitka spruce and the sides/back made of Indian rosewood. It has a black pickguard, non-scalloped X bracing, and is still rear-shifted these days. The neck is selected hardwood, approximately 43mm nut width, 25.4 inch long scale, and the fingerboard/bridge is striped ebony. Also, from around this time the adjustable truss rod became 2-way, and adjustments were made using a long wrench. Made in USA The paint on the top has faded over time, giving it a classy feel. The condition of the neck is fine and there are enough frets left. The truss rod is also OK on the left and right sides (tightening side/loosening side).
