Description: Marples 8 oz Warrington Cross Peen Jointers Hammer. Measuring 10 7/8" overall, the head is 3 3/4" long, the face is 11/16" in diameter, the peen is a little less than 3/4" wide, and this weighs 8 1/2 oz unboxed. This might be a Record Marples, but the head mark is worn and the model number on the back doesn't match the Record ones for these hammers. This is in used, but reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There is some wear to the finish on the head. The face and peen are good. The handle has staining, a few tiny bits of paint, and a little wear to the finish, but most of it is present. The head is on tight, at least setting here. This ain't pristine, but it will get the job done. A working collectible old jointers tool for sure!
