Description: Rare color lithograph of a Vietnamese or Annamite child by listed French artist Marie-Antoinette Boullard-Deve (1890-1970). She studied at the Academie des Beaux Arts in Paris. She lived and worked in Indochina during the 1920s where she produced a body of work exploring the people of Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. She returned to France in the 1930s or 1940s. She exhibited at the Colonial Exhibition in Marseille in 1922 and at the Paris International Colonial Exhibition in 1931. This lithograph is signed lower right and numbered 12/42. It measures 11.5" x 8.75" (image size). It is in good condition though with stains on the lower edges and at the left corner. Please see my other auctions for more fine paintings and prints.
