This one is VERY unique as it has a retractable pick. I'm am *NOT* an expert in the field of knives or hatchets, but I've tried to track down the history of this particular axe and I've had a hard time. Finding a No 2 with a nail puller is spotty, but finding one with a pick is nearly impossible. The axe has the 1898 patent date on it and is fully functional. I believe this to be a collectors item and will gladly answer any questions that I can, but please keep in mind that I'm *NOT* an expert in this field.
