Description: Up for sale is a beautiful working 2245 Marantz receiver which is one of my favorite Marantz collections. It has the unique engraved champagne faceplate which makes it so rare and highly collectable. The amp is conservatively rated @45watts/channel and reviewed as the "midweight champion receiver" from the Web. Hard to see it go, but I need to spare some rooms for my kids. People are amazed by its warm, wide and detailed signature sound from Marantz. It's the only brand can compete with the Mcintosh in those hay days. Amplifier is completely refreshed/serviced about two years ago by a reputable local tech, so it will last for another decade without doubt. Plenty of power from this receiver, can drive most of the speakers out there. The original wood cabinet is included($500 value). It's a very heavy receiver and I will pack & shipped in a safely cushioned heavy duty box. This showroom piece will make a great holiday gift for someone or yourself.
