Description: Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Marantz 1030 amplifier. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 1030 power supply board, amplifier board, phono EQ board, and preamp board, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors, a new blue LED, and a new power switch with snubber capacitor. This does not include new fuses or output transistors. The original output transistors are 2SD315, and can either be replaced with NTE175 transistors (available on eBay) or with TIP41C transistors, which have a different package but can be fitted fairly easily. I have those available here. Please do not buy any of the Chinese output transistors listed on eBay--these are counterfeit and can damage your amp. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitors are one Nichicon LS 6800 uf 80v cap and two Epcos 4700 uf 50v capacitors, the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding an amplifier is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb.
