Description: HOUSEHOLD ARTIFACTS This is a very nice vintage Mola that is framed in a narrow black Neilsen metal frame with glass. The frame is 17 1/4 x 20 1/4 inches and the Mola is 14 1/2 x 16 inches. I removed the glass for photography only. This example has a Manta Ray Man in the middle and a small Manatee to the left. It is a combination of reverse applique and applique and all sew by hand with tiny stitches. The Native American Kunas or Cunas live on the San Blas Islands, an archipelago 200 miles long off the coast of Panama.To save on shipping I can remove the mola from the frame and send in an envelope.
