His booth was full of old wares, but was also noteworthy for having a small sign reading, ”Comic Book Collection for Sale”. A few days later, we were at Gilbert’s home to purchase his collection… five short boxes of mostly unread bronze age first (and other key and early) issues, all neatly bagged and boarded and stored away. The Gilbert books are mostly high grade with bright covers and white pages. This is Part 2 of our sale of this collection which we’ve had in storage since acquiring it. We hate when it happens to us and will do our very best to make sure we don't do it to you. We have submitted hundreds of comics to CGC for grading and know how they apply their grades. Our VF/NM will not look like a Fine (and it could very well qualify as a NM- or NM). We are confident that you will not be disappointed with our grading.
