Description: Stunning, large statement piece! This very heavy, urn-shaped vase is handmade earthenware pottery, coated with lead/ tin glaze. It is unclear as to the origin of the piece. It favors the Italian style majolica. Makers marks are impressed and scratched on the base of the vase. This piece is in excellent condition, but not pristine. Two of the applied leaves have been chipped. This is not noticeable at first glance. In fact, I had to rub my fingers across all of the pieces to inspect for damage. Luckily, chips are on the same side of the vase which would be unnoticeable if on a display shelf. Please review all photos carefully.
