Description: This magpie wall hanging "Picky Eater" is my first attempt at painting a tapestry instead of stretched canvas. I wanted to start out with a small painting, and after a few failed attempts trying to sew canvas, and prime un-stretched canvas, I was successful and finally ready to paint. You can hang them with the dowel or I'll include a piece of teal faux leather for hanging as pictured. All you need is a couple small nails and you're set. Materials: Original acrylic on primed canvas. UV coating. Fringe on bottom, wooden dowel. Size: Canvas 9 x 28″. With fringe and top loops 9 x 30″. Comes with dowel and faux leather cord for alternate hanging option. I originally became a still life painter because I love food. Juicy fruits, colorful vegetables, glasses of wine, I adore all of these pleasures, so it?s natural for me to paint them. Plus, they don't move. My other love is foreign travel. I often combine objects from my adventures with food. Early in life I started a Peruvian imports business after working in a coal mine for several years. I continued to paint and study art privately, including mural painting in England. I have sold through galleries in Santa Fe, Denver and Loveland, Co. Currently, I am both painting and have my import business. I also founded a cat rescue in rural Colorado. I am very excited about being able to offer my paintings and prints on Ebay.
