Magnus Robot Fighter number 5 from October 1991 in 9.4 NM with White pages. It features numerous first appearances including that of Rai, X-O Commando, Grandmother, Slagger, and Felina. Rai was Valiant`s first completely original character, and even though his presence was all too brief, it leaves a resonating impact for Valiant fans to this day... No collector should be without a copy of this book! The 54th Edition Overstreet(which has NEVER been a very good indicator of current values on Valiant books) would place the graded value of this book in 9.2 at $30.00, so a 9.4 should be around $45 or so, and (even though I know we are not buying slabs... we are buying comic books) the CGC grading and encapsulating would run you well over thirty bucks. I have set the minimum bid at what is, in my opinion, ridiculously low... About a fourth of what it should be valued at. This is a CGC certified grade, so you know what you`re getting. I may have a different opinion of the grade of a book than the CGC, but they ARE the recognized grading standard these days, and these differences usually are on older books. No returns on CGC graded books. They are what they are. The plastic case is the older style and it is in excellent shape with no noteworthy defects. This book will ship securely packaged in a box, NOT AN ENVELOPE. It will be individually bagged, but you will most likely want to put a new bag on it, since the one it is now in is for protection, not looks, and it may show wear. It ships SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Raw books ship MEDIA MAIL, which is the most economical way to ship these, so that is how they will likely ship, with tracking included. While this method is the cheapest it is also the slowest.
