Description: This is a magnificent antique 1904 cockscomb pattern applique quilt. The quilt has a cockscomb variation pattern on the top of the quilt in red and and green with linen white color background as well as a red edge overall on the quilt. One corner of the quilt has the date of its creation and initials of "V.E.B stitched in place. The reverse of the antique quilt is a linen white color as well. It is hand quilted throughout the piece. It was purchased in Cromwell , Connecticut years ago and stored well. The quilt is stunning and truly a work of art! The condition of the quilt is good.
