Macintosh SE30 - 4.1gb Hard Disk, 128mb memory, Recapped, fantastic example!

Description: A fantastic SE30. A huge 4.1gb hard disk drive with two 2gb volumes and one additional 130mb volume. Cleaned and lubricated 1.4mb floppy drive. Logic board and Analog board cleaned and inspected. Logic Board recapped. The SE/30 is loaded with the maximum 128mb of memory. It has system 7.5.5 installed and startup is controlled with Conflict Catcher 4. If you have been wanting to get into mac vintage computing, you should consider this computer. Volume one has over 416 mb of applications and data. Volume 2 has over 535mb of games. There are too many games to list. I am not a gamer so I have not even tried to open many of them. I suspect some are designed for Power PC, others may require color. I have tried dozens of these games but I cannot guarantee how many are usable on an SE/30. Other programs include; Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Hypercard, Business Sense, Excel 4, MYOB, Mac Money, MacLinkPlus 9, TattleTech 2.59,Disinfectant, Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Macwrite II, Macwrite Pro, PageMaker 2, MS Works 1.1,ClarisWorks 4.0 and MANY MANY more... The Hard Disk has 26 mb of disk utilities for copying and repair of hard disks and floppy disks. Also included are the disk images for several systems including 6.0, 6.8, 7.0, 7.1, 7.1.3, 7.5.1, 7.5.3 and 7.5.5. If you want to get into Vintage Computing, consider this offering. It has tons of software, three volumes for use and the maximum memory allowed on a Mac SE30. You must use MODE32 which is installed on the 7.5.5 volume. It also has the patch for the Date and Time clock that allows setting times and dates beyond 2019, Since Macintosh did not have an option to easily boot volumes, you must use a utility such as PMount to select a volume to boot. A copy is provided. This is the nicest, cleanest SE30 I have ever had. Check out the photos of the interior case and parts. The 128mb of memory and 4.1gb HDD make this a great opportunity for someone. If you have never had an SE/30 with this amount of memory be prepared for looooong boot times. Up to two minutes before the boot process begins while testing memory and extensions is occurring. If you don't want to wait, hold down the shift key to disable all extensions. You wont get extensions and control panels but you will get nearly INSTANT booting! You can also go back to System 7.1 for fast booting. Includes mouse and power cord similar to what is shown some keyboards have coiled cable. Do to its age there is no guarantee or warranty. You can see the condition it left my control in the photos and video. Most computers like this that have been cleaned and repaired, continue for years with the same kind of care.
