Description: MACFARLANE LANG & CO English Victorian Lady in Garden Metal Biscuit Tin -England Might Be Rare- Could Not Find Another Like It on the Net We are pleased to offer this lovely unmarked antique biscuit tin manufactured by MacFarlane Lang & Co in England circa 1930s. Two sides of this decorative metal container feature a Victorian lady in a lavish garden surrounded by beautiful orange flowers. She is wearing a long yellow and lilac dress that stands out against a yellow background with linked gold motifs. The other two sides picture a smaller view of the garden with water fountain. It stands 6" tall and measures 4-1/2" square. It has some wear on the metal strap handle; otherwise it is in very good condition, some small areas of scratching on outside (general wear and tear). The underside of the cover and the inside of the box are very clean with no rust. The print and color quality is still extremely good considering its age. This tin appears to be quite rare as we found very few in this design when researching. Just a charming vintage English metal biscuit box that you are sure to want to add to your collection.
