Description: This is a piece of Lynyrd Skynyrd artifact history. A piece of the original Hell House dock (5.5"X2.5"X.75") located directly behind Hell House on Peters Creek in Green Cove Florida. This is where Ronnie Van Zant would go, after hearing the guitarists riffs of the day, to write the songs to the lyrics for the first three albums in his head only as he never wrote a word down. I obtained this wood directly from Skynryd historian and plane crash survivor Gene Odom who had removed and stored it for years. Sadly, now as of this week, (see photo) the dock has been torn out to make way for a new dock. This amazing piece of history was walked on by Ronnie Van Zant and signed by band mate Artimus Pyle. This lot comes with a comprehensive signed COA by Gene Odom defining its history and significance and an 8X10 of Hell House.
