This wonderful 12" Leeann doll, called Taking Flightwas designed by Denis Bastien of Amazing Designsfor the October 16, 2010 Hudson Valley Doll Club "Women In Flight" Luncheon.It celebrated their 35th anniversary as a club and DenisBastien did the presentation on the history of women pilots.The doll was designed to resemble Amelia Earhart. This limited edition (85) doll is made of hard plastic,has rooted hair and is fully jointed.And although I have no paperwork on this doll, you can read about the event on the Hudson Valley Doll Club website. Leeann is in overall excellent condition, with only onesmall flaw - the top rim of one boot has chips off the "leather".I have shown it in one of the pics. I did not undress herbecause she has never been undressed,and she shows no sign of being played with. Item shown is the actual item being sold.
