Description: This is a Signed Lowell Grant (1920-1977) Wall Sculpture of a Boy. It is one of a kind, and is a bust of an acquaintance when he was young, I was told c.1958. I am also selling a bust of his brother commissioned at the same time. It appears to be made of either painted plaster (or cement?) mounted on wood. It measures approx. 12" tall x 9" wide x 5 1/2" deep, and it weighs in at a hefty approx. 7 1/2 pounds. It says "Smith", their family name, on the back. This wall sculpture would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or midcentury art collection, and would make a great gift, too! It would also make an interesting & decorative conversation piece. The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography. This sculpture is in very good condition and has hung on the same spot on the same wall all these years! It was made to look rustic & rugged to begin with.
