Description: This small, lovely ceramic vase was made back in the 1950s, when Japan was recovering from its WWII loss. The double handled rectangular piece has a simple elegance of line and an endearing graphic of cheerful flowers. The bottom of the vase is stamped "Japan." The piece is in good, age-related condition -- there are no chips or cracks; a bit of paint has rubbed off the rim and one of the flowers which, I think, gives it a marvelous sense of age. The vase is approx. 6 1/8" tall x 4 1/4" across x 2 1/2" deep.
