WONDERFUL Native American Sterling Silver Turquoise & Coral Bird Inlay Necklace

Description: WONDERFULLY colorful vintage Native American, Zuni and artisan crafted sterling silver, turquoise, mediterranean coral, mother of pearl and shell woodpecker inlay pendant/necklace. This fine necklace is 18 3/4” long and weighs 70.3 grams. It features a vintage Native American, Zuni signed sterling silver dimensional stone inlay pendant that is 2 3/4” long, including the bail, by 1 7/8” wide and that is inlaid on an iridescent white mother of pearl background with a variety of jasper, jet, turquoise and shell that features a delightful woodpecker with a branch and leaves. This inlaid mother of pearl design is beautifully set in an ornate, textured bezel with rope detail and stamp work elements surrounding and two finely drawn, dimensional leaves. It is hand-signed with what appears to be “ED” on the back. This pendant hangs on a southwestern artisan crafted sterling silver, turquoise, mediterranean coral, iridescent white mother of pearl, red shell and vintage Native American sterling silver bench bead necklace that is finished with a lovely sterling floral and feather hook and eye clasp and a spiral charm that symbolizes life’s journey in Native American culture. The beads in this necklace include lovely, round, genuine turquoise beads that measure from 8 mm to 10 mm, 9 mm to 10 mm highly polished, iridescent white mother of pearl beads, large iridescent white mother of pearl slices, turquoise slices, antique mediterranean coral tubular shaped beads, red shell beads and 8 mm to 9 mm sterling bench beads. All of the material is high grade vintage material. This necklace is remarkably striking and beautifully crafted. All of the silver, including the pendant, the beads and the clasp, has been professionally tested as sterling silver. The turquoise, mediterranean coral, shell and mother of pearl has been verified by a certified gemologist. This necklace was recently re-strung on strong jeweler’s flex wire so it is ready to wear.
