Description: This auction is for a Lovely Antique Ironstone Polychrome Transferware Plate made in the mid 1800s by Francis Morley & Co. of Staffordshire England in the company’s Striking Aurora pattern. The pattern features a base decoration of Victorian Scrolls and Flowers in Red Transferware highlighted with flourishes of green, blue and yellow hand applied under the glaze. The plate Displays Wonderfully and is in Very Good Condition, especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or damage. There is fine, even under-the-glaze crazing that is common from pieces of this vintage. It measures 8 1/2 inches across. The plate has a backstamp with the Aurora pattern name. I am selling many other antique Staffordshire items -- and many other pieces in this Aurora pattern -- and will combine shipping whenever possible. Check out my other items! I charge actual shipping and will send this USPS Priority Mail. Please also check my feedback and BUY WITH CONFIDENCE. I only accept PayPal. Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
