Description: Lovatt & Ricketts/Arabian Saddle Company Elan16.5” medium tree hunt/close-contact saddle. This saddle has normal wear on the flaps, but has been well cared for. Tree, stitching, and billets are sound. The panels are wool-flocked, the channel is wide so as not to put pressure on the spine, and the leather is super soft. This is a hunt saddle with a square cantle (NOT all-purpose), but has a longer flap than most. It puts the rider in a nice forward position over fences with a slightly longer stirrup length, making it particularly comfortable for fox hunting or long days in the saddle. Really nice saddle, but sadly does not fit my horse.
