Description: Medal in bronze representing the profile of Louis XVIII by Jean-Bertrand Andrieu (1761-1822). The other side features an allegory of return of Louis XVIII to France, and more specifically in Calais, April 24, 1814. It bears a Latin inscription on the 'Return of the Bourbons on the throne of France." This piece is vintage and was well published in the very early 19th century. D. 50 mm.
