Description: This is a lot of 6 Fordite cabs, cut and polished by me. See quarter in pictures for size reference. They are all flat backed. My best guess as to the origin of the Fordite is 1960s GMC factory. Fordite is manmade, and is formed from layers of auto paint from pre 1970 auto manufacturing/painting. Layers of paint pooled up when cars were handpainted. Then it would harden when the paint was heated during the painting process.
