Description: Lot of 4 Vintage Little Blue Books by E. Haldeman-Julius No. 497, 498, 499, 503 Little Blue Books and Ten Cent Pocket Series books were published between 1919 and 1978. The small books were designed to fit into a working man's pocket. Emanuel Haldeman-Julius and his wife Marcet published the books to foster ideals of American socialism and basic education to the working classes. The covers are stained and have chips. The pages are tan consistent with their age. Number 499 has a notation written in pencil on the front cover and a stain along the top-right corner of the pages.
