Description: Lot of 3 Hand Colored Prints from the fifth edition of A History of British Bird. Ringed Guillemot; Sooty Tern; Stormy Petrel. All nicely matted. Stormy Petrel has light foxing. Bumping and rubbing to edges. Small marks on mattes. Apparently the author of the print drawings to the book these came from was Alexander Francis Lydon, who had the support of a team of female artists to hand color each drawing. Guillemot and Tern both measure 8” x 10” while the Petrel measures 7” x 9”.
