Description: Lot of 2 Vintage rare Original Black and White Photos of Women's Softball Teams in Los Angeles, California area photographed by Brown Studio, Pacific Blvd., Huntington Park, CA. Measures 8 x 10" each. Studio stamp on reverse of each. One photo has studio info on front plus name of team 'Crown's All-Stars April 1939'. Crown may have been the trophy manufacturer and was sponsoring the team or maybe a league. Other photo has many of the same girls and one same coach so must have been within year of 1939 photo. On back of photo is written one name De Elsa White and other photo has two names with one being De Elsa. We looked her up and found her living in San Gabriel, CA 1940 Census. She was born in 1923. But we don't which girl or woman she is in photos. Conditions overall good one photo has fair amount of spotting, discoloration and scuffs, both have wear along edges and small creasing.
