The vast majority of the world's countries, including all of the great powers, fought as part of two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis. Many participants threw their economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities behind this total war, blurring the distinction between civilian and military resources. Aircraft played a major role, enabling the strategic bombing of population centres and the delivery of the only two nuclear weapons ever used in war. World War II was by far the deadliest conflict in history, resulting in an estimated 70 to 85 million fatalities, mostly among civilians. Tens of millions died due to genocides (including the Holocaust), starvation, massacres, and disease. In the wake of the Axis defeat, Germany and Japan were occupied, and war crimes tribunals were conducted against German and Japanese leaders.By far one of the finest vintage makers of figures, Chota Sahib produced a really great line of figures in the 1970s and 1980s. Beautifully sculpted and cast, they stand up even today. It also helped that the majority of the subject matter was something of great interest to many painters of the time - Victorian Britain - and the figures appeared in books and magazines when many of our generation began painting. Sadly, Sid Horton of Brighton, England, their maker, passed away in the 1980s, but his work, however, is something that continues to spark creativity in many modelers.Your shipment will arrive via USPS Priority Mail (1-4 business days), USPS Ground Advantage (2-5 business days), or UPS Ground Saver (1-6 business days) after the 2-3 day processing time (upon paid purchase)Shipment(s) sent out of Lemon Grove, California, USAWE CAN COMBINE-SHIP - ASK US FIRST!Will be packed very well - READ OUR FEEDBACK!No Returns ***AN INVOICE WILL BE SENT AFTER PURCHASE, WHICH MAY REFLECT A MORE ACCURATE POSTAGE RATE FOR THIS ITEM - DON'T PASS THIS UP YET!
