Description: Fascinating collection of old weekly magazines from the World War I era. This lot includes three editions of the Saturday Evening Post, one from November 1913, one from February 1914, and one from February 1915. Also, including an issue of Colliers from September 1914. These magazines have been carefully preserved and are in generally good condition, particularly considering their age. The 1913 issue of the Saturday Evening Post has a few water marks on the cover, and a few pages have spots on them inside, see photos. These all have some wear visible from being stored for so long, especially on the covers, but I don’t see any missing pages or anything that has been cut out. Please see photos for a full depiction of condition, and reach out with any questions. Packed carefully and shipped in a sturdy cardboard box to ensure no damage. I will need to ship them in a large box because the Colliers magazine is 15 inches tall and the Saturday Evening Post is 14.25 inches tall.
