THIS PATTERN IS MOST COMMONLY KNOWN AS CASTLE, LANDSCAPE OR ARCHITECTURAL REPOUSSE, BUT SAMUEL KIRK ORIGINALLY CALLED IT "ETRUSCAN" BACK IN THE LATE 1820s. THIS COMPOTE IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH A GREAT PATINA AND CRISP CHASING. THIS PIECE IS 11" TALL X 10" IN LONG AND WEIGHS 20.8 TROY OUNCES AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN MONOGRAMED.
