The single-handled basket includes the soft/fabric liner (decorated with painted eggs), a plastic liner, an informational insert along with the ceramic tie on ‘Easter 1998.’ It measures 8 1/2” long x 9” deep x 4 1/2” high and weighs approximately a pound. The Maker’s Mark of Longaberger, 1998 Edition, as well as signatures on the bottom. The basket making tradition of the Longabergers dates back to the turn of the century when the family weaved baskets in Dresden. David Longaberger revitalized the handcrafting tradition in American when he founded the Longaberger Company in 1973. All items are in very good condition. (SEE IMAGES).
