In 2014 the owner was arrested on suspicion of tax evasion and the brewery was put up for sale. In 2017 it was purchased in a joint venture by the Brooklyn Brewery and Carlsberg UK. In 2023 it was acquired by GLC (Grace Land Group) owners of 5 other North London Pubs; The Black Heart, Kings Arms, Earl of Essex, The Axe and Red Hand. They plan on reopening London Fields as their 6th pub with the name "Saint Monday" in the near future. 3 Weiss monkeys. 5.0%ABV. English Pale Ale with a hint of citrus, bread and subtle spice notes.
