Description: This is a modified LOGA System ( Garbini style ) HK PSG-1 TRIPOD assembly LOGA Systems Tripods are made in Switzerland . The original design was by Garbini but Loga actually made the production units .This unique tripod was originally made for both the SIG 550 Sniper Rifle ( and has the SIG log on the front ) and for the German HK PSG-! sniper rifles ( with the HK logo in red on the front ) The HK variants do occasionally show up for sale . the SIG tripods are ultra rare and almost imposable to find . This Is a HK PSG-1 Loga Systems Tripod that has been modified ( upgraded ) For reference : the last HK PSG-1 Tripod that recently sold on Gun Broker was a used example that sold for just over $2000 USD This started as a brand new genuine HK PSG-1 Tripod ( not a replica or clone of the HK PSG-1 tripod ) . The HK logo ( that was originally on the face of the tripod body in Red ) was machined off ( removing the HK logo from the unit) Then the tripod was modified for a display of a rare Swiss SIG 550 Sniper rifle ( the SIG 550 Sniper rifle originally had a Garbini tripod and later Loga made both a HK PSG-1 tripod as they also made the same tripod for the SIG 550 sniper / see last picture for an example ) The 3 legs have been weighted with 14 steel split washers on each leg ( these can be removed as required to change the weight and stability of the tripod ) The original half moon forearm rest of the original HK PSG- 1 tripod has been adapted to accept BOG Gear Rubber lined half moon rifle / pistol rest ( please see pictures ) There are 2 different sized BOG Gear Rubber Y / yokes that can be used with the tripod ( see pictures ) ... they simply snap into place ( BOG may have other accessories that may also work with the tripod , although I have not explored this option ) The only reason that Im selling this rare gem is that I was able to find a SIG 550 sniper tripod ( the one in the last picture ) so I no longer have need of this HK PSG-1 tripod that I had modified for display of my rifle ( it took over 30 years to find the SIG tripod just fyi ) :) Used for a display only / in excellent condition thanks for looking
