Shake it before you use it and take a quick break between sprays to get a few shakes in if you're working on a larger piece. Clear the nozzle between uses and watch for overspray!Before you spray, check the nozzle! By design, this product will form a film over the nozzle after use. If you don't clear this film first your spray could be erratic and unpredictable, it only takes a second and isn't difficult to do. Lockdown is not a messy product to use, but if you're new to it expect a bit of overspray while you get used to it. Try using it over a drop cloth or trash can. It can be used on ABSThis product has been approved and tested to work with both PVC and ABS as well as joining the two together. Uses per canWe have actual test results from a lab to show how many uses to expect out of a can. The 4.5 oz can will do over 130 joints of 3/4" PVC and the larger 11 oz can will do over 300. vs Traditional cleaner/primer + cementThe smaller can will last about the same as a full quart of cleaner/primer and one quart of cement. Not only will it last longer, but it has a shelf life of more than 2 years after you first use it! It won't spill or gel in the can like the dobbers do.
