Description: DirectionsCheck the cap to ensure the gasket is in place. Place a little bit of water on the gasket before installing the bottle. Fill the bottle all the way to the top and screw on the cap. When the bottle is filled and first inverted, press the ball & let water drip out until a vacuum develops. Small amounts of dripping at first are normal until a vacuum has fully developed. You can squeeze the bottle a little to speed up this process. Place the bottle on the cage so that the tube is resting on a cross bar. Attach the supplied spring or wire hanger to secure the bottle to the cage.Be sure your pet is trained on how to drink from a bottle before leaving them alone. Make sure and check the water level in your Lixit bottle daily.
