Description: This is a original 1948,1949 Pennsylvania 671 work train set. It has been stored for alot of years and this is the way it came together when new. It is in excellent shape and not played with much. The 671 was tested by touching the wires to the wheel and bottom of the locomotive. The tender is a 2671 with no cracks or breaks and excellent shape to. It has a whistle in it but did not have a way to test it. It had a nice looking like new transformer but it had cracks in the insulation and afraid to try to test it with it. Used a new type transformer but didn't have the whistle option. It also comes with 6520 search light car and 3469 dump car and 2460 Crane car and 6419 Gray caboose car and also some old Lionel smoke pills. The only thing l can find scratched is some very small , a couple on the lionel dump car . Overall this is really better than excellent kind of like new old Lionel work train set.
