Description: Lionel No. 3814 Operating Merchandise Car, Brown. This is the early version of the car with the decal "L" on the sides. The car is complete, except as noted, and is in very good plus condition. The original paint on the car is very clean, but there is some minor wear to the decal "L"s and lettering. The car was tested. The package unloading operation did not work and would require service for operation. The car does not include the merchandise crates. The car has nickel trim, black journals and early style operating box couplers. The trucks and couplers are very clean. I will combine multiple purchases to minimize shipping costs and refund the balance.
