Description: LIONEL #LW 125-WATT TRANSFORMER W/WHISTLE-RECONDITIONED-NEW CORD-6 AMP DIODE-UPDATED-CLEANED-SERVICED-TESTED-LIKE NEW PLUS PLUS OPERATING CONDITION LIONEL ONE #LW Transformer 125 Watts, made from 1955-1956, has been completely disassembled, cleaned in and out, updated, serviced, reconditioned, and tested, with no chips, cracks, bends, or breaks, lite scratches on case, baseplate has been repainted, as shown in pictures, is in Like New Plus Plus Operating Condition. This transformer has been completely disassembled, Top Bearing Plate Assembly Removed, so contacts and coil could be cleaned and inspected. I installed a new 6 Amp Diode; to replace the whistle rectifier disc, so no more problems with weak or burned-out Rectifier Disc. It was tested and is working at 25.36 Volts. The Whistle contacts have been cleaned and lubed with Die Electric Grease. The circuit breaker was checked and working, all wiring re-soldered and checked. The binding posts and Binding post nuts have been cleaned. It has a New Black Handle. I installed a New power cord with (L) on Plug. A Copy of the Original Instruction Sheet is included. The Original Name plate is in Excellent Condition, with normal wear, as shown in pictures. The Transformer pictures in this listing, show the actual transformer you will receive. The last picture shows using terminals A-U for hookup for full voltage. I sold a LW on August 16, 2024, and November 2, 2024, for $139.99 each. THE LAST ONE!!! The shipping weight will be 7 Pounds.
