Description: Lincoln Wheat Cents 50 Lot beautiful natural tones wide range dates grades WPTN8:This last year I inherited the estate of my brother and sister-in-law Bill and Susie Ledbetter who were professional and prominent antique collectors and dealers in the phoenix area for over 50 years. Among the inheritance were vintage coins numbering over 100,000. There were at least 30,000 wheat pennies and I did not have time to look through them for the isolated gem or valuable penny so I began to collect them in a bucket opening bags and rolls and mixing them together so that I might sell them in bulk to interested parties. Most of the rolls and bags contained what looked to be ordinary coins and this is likely very true. I did not have time to examine them at all being a very busy doctor. I did find some rolls with different labels than the others. There were several roles named “woody” and also rolls named “tonies” and “rainbow tonies.” There were only a few rolls. The item here is from a roll of “Tonies” and I think you will find them valuable and interesting they are among the most beautiful coins I have ever seen. Dr. BillThis lot is "early rainbow tonies".
