Description: This clear glass figural bottle bank features Abraham Lincoln and was sold by Lincoln Foods of Lawrence, MA. (I believe the bottle itself was made by Owens-Illinois). The base indicates it was covered by a design patent that was issued in 1952, and I think the number "53" on the bottom means it was made in 1953. At 9.75”H it is the larger version of this bottle as some are in the 8"H range. The metal cap is original and has a slot so coins can be inserted into the bottle. This is a great way to save Lincoln pennies! The slot seems a little small for quarters. This is in very nice condition and very clean.
